I’ve heard about the buyback from them but not the other conditions. They doing a good job of pissing off the other dealers, lol.

Congrats on getting a car.

Gark, did you tell them you were looking to maybe purchase a Panamera or something else as well? Hopefully the buy-back doesn't say whatever they dictate because what if they decide it's worth msrp -$25k after a year?

I think these agreements are going to become common but the wording is going to be problematic.

Congrates on the car. In general tho with all those conditions, it seem like one does not even really own the car. They just drop a bunch of money off. Jump thru about 9 hoops. Get a car they drive around abit , can tell there friends how smart they are for getting car that dosent depreciate like a Kia. But in the end the dealer pulls all the strings. But maybe im just upset because I haven't gotten "the call"......

Thanks for the additional insight. You are right about Pfaff. Last I spoke they had 21 VIPs remaining and were working to devise an approach to remaining allocations. Starting with this next round hopefully.

I did express I would be interested in a Porsche Minivan or a 7 seater SUV It's a birthday present to myself, so I intend to keep it. They did tell me they like to see their clients drive the car not flipping it couple month down the road.

No trade. This is the only new car from them. Now he did tell me that they said for me to call them if I wanted to trade my 997 gt3 in. I'd get one too. But I dont want to get rid of my 997

I was notified 1.5 weeks ago that I had a confirmed GT3 allocation and came to terms with trading my 5 month old 991.2 TTS Cab.
Just a wee bit butt hurt in the process but we only live once...

Lock date is early Dec with arrival March 2018.
