This! Hahaha love the idea! I'm in if we can all get an allocation + discount, but my gut tells me it'll be easier to get a GT3 than a group buy from MB for the GTR
Report back on the experience. I was thinking about signing up for AMG Academy where you get time driving a GTR. couldn't care less about the other cars. But can't bring myself to pay for that likely also because I'd really rather have the GT3.
I emailed MB about a chance to drive one and they suggest the Academy or local dealer to see if they will have an event.
Will do although I'm not a professional auto journalist, so don't expect anything in depth. I do have my track license and a bunch of experience in an M4. Never driven a P car on the track so won't be able to do a comparison.
So who here wants to buy a 991.2 GT3 with the just announced "touring package"?
Not me. I'm with those that say it should've had a different model designation. I have been conditioned to what a GT3 is and that's what I want. However maybe Porsche is resetting that definition, wonder if touring will carry for 992.

I'm going touring package. I just want something a bit understated. Whenever I take my RS out, i've got ricers constantly pulling up to race, and attracting unwanted attention. A wingless GT3 will make a great sleeper.

It's logical for you to go with the Touring as you already have an RS.. congrats again.. Definitely looking forward to your thoughts when comparing them both.
