The method of lubrication is what kills the 2 stroke.

I forgot to share this video I took a couple seasons ago in 2012. My sled is an 800 cc ski-doo etec engine. Pretty much the benchmark for current 2 stroke technology. The cat is my dads 1100 4 stroke turbo with a $199 re-flash and a muffler. This video basically shows just what the heavy pig 4 strokes do in a real world race

Why so focused on straight line?? It's a fat pig and doesn't handle period . Drag racing isn't the point . Turbo anything and it's gonna make power. And you suck at launching

It's just a slow 4 stroke remember. We're definitely going riding together this winter if I can't out ride you on my 4 stroke poor handling slow sled I'll sign it over.

Haha as soon are there is snow I am gone North. I hope Cochrane has snow before xmas.

We're booked nov. 24 for mont valin Quebec.

Not technically a sled but now owned by a sled manufacturer (Polaris). Underneath the wrap is a KTM 450sxf bored out to 520, high compression piston, ported / polished and running a BOS NOS nitrous system. Back-end is a 2014 timbersled ST kit.

I've made some changes since this photo was taken. Swapped out the nitrous for a Boondocker turbo kit so now I've got 140hp with around 10 psi boost. Plus I upgraded the track from 121" to 129" with 2.5" paddles from the stock 1.75". Also added a 6th gear for longer legs coming out of the backcountry.

People used to look at me like I was an alien but starting to see more of these in the Rockies. They are unreal in deep powder, and amazing in the trees. The turbo will allow me to pull super steep lines for the days I'm riding with my sled head buddies.

I live 2 minutes away from the trails. I have a 1998 Yammy VMAX XT. Doesn't cost me much, kids love it, and it keeps me entertained in the winter.

That's very cool.
Can you get a trail pass for it?
I would imagine if you rode it like a dirt bike you'd rip up the trails pretty good.
