People who hate winter, are lazy, with no hobbies.

Ski in the morning, sled in the afternoon. Back in time for last call at happy hour. Muskoka/Collingwood
See three hobbies. I'm very busy.

I've got a 2004(?) Polaris Trail Deluxe Touring -550 Fan... Might hit 65mph down a long hill. Only 1600 miles....

I haven't insured or put a permit on it for the past few years.... way too busy in the winter... Both kids are playing rep (boy- hockey, girl ringette)...

I'm only keeping it cause I have free storage... Shame too, cause the trails start about 10 houses down from me...

Leaving the house for a quick snowmobile run (2010)

Aside from the lazy bit, that's me. I hate winter, but might not so much if I enjoyed winter sports. I used to ski when I was a kid, it was ok. Always wanted to go snowmobiling, never been, but it looks fun. I considered getting into ice racing a few years ago, but the track is 3 hours from here. I do need to find something other than winter projects on the Porsche to make me enjoy winter more.

My wintertime hobby is shovelling snow--here in sunny Buffalo it's pretty much full-time! Helps me stay in shape, though.....contrary to most people, I actually lose weight in the wintertime (and gain it back in the summer with all the post-track ice cream )......

No ski/snowmobile though--don't need any other ways to injure myself.....
