WTB? 996TT / GT2 exhaust
Seeing what's on the market/price...anyone 'local' have a turbo-back/muffler assembly/exhaust to fit 996TT/GT2 they're looking to sell...open to options from factory stock exhaust to aftermarket x-pipes, consider all options except full straight-pipes(have those)...potential project...
Tired of straight-pipe drone, should have kept my Milltek.
Thanks,
Rob

Rob,
We can build you an X-Pipe that I think you would be extremely pleased to operate, along with sounding fantastic....been doing these for many years on the 996TT and we know how to get great sound without the drone. PM me if you wish to discuss.

Ya exactly, perfect when driving hard/track...but man it makes cruising/trips painful.
Hey John,
I will PM you in a bit(or shoot me one) to see what a most basic 'X' is worth, not really looking to buy a new pre-made system(and I could care less how it looks outside quality/function..ie.scraps, colouring ,etc) as it would be nice to change/fab my current straight pipes(to use the cats) into something better...or gut a stock system, etc.
Thanks,
Rob

I have a slightly used 996TT 3" X-Pipe arriving a week from Monday, but I would have to add new cats or cat bypass pipes to round it out to a full system. I will be putting it up for sale once I get it back. Unbelievably great sound from this pipe and it is very comfortable from a resonance standpoint. It's loud, but in a good way. We went to great lengths, lots of R&D trial and error to minimize resonance and tune the pitch on this 3" pipe and the results are fantastic ...

Hey John,
Think I've already secured an exhaust, but am interested...can you PM me a price of the x-pipe by itself (I have sport cats I'd like to weld on myself)
Cheers,
Rob
