One day I will definitely come to one of these meeting but I already have breakfast arrangements with another Porsche group. It's a bit of a drive from Forest Hill to Mississauga. It is in Mississauga isn't it?

^ Etobicoke.

Some people (me included) put foam under over-inflated tires because it certainly can't hurt, much like some people store their 993 in the winter, probably not necessary, but can't hurt.

Parked it today on my mats, plugged the Ctek in and I'll get around to covering it tomorrow...

^ Well at least you got one more week out of it than me, but I had to go to parent's house today to do the mandatory downspout disconnect and fix other things, so I didn't feel too too bad not able to drive the 996 on a nice day like today.

Saw an yellow Ferrari 430 and a beautiful burgundy McLaren MP4-12C on 401, so that gave me a bit of a fix.

Grey 997 goes under the lift.

Mom's SL500 cleaned up and is now in storage (great storage place!)

GT3 here at the office near mom's SL.

BMW still to be put away.

I stopped behind him and we shoveled the street the last 150ft to get to our driveways. I feel very confident driving across the city every day all through the winter.
This is gonna be my first winter in my first P-car and posts like this make me feel a lot better. Drove an F-150 for the last 3 years and a Jeep Cherokee before that. People think I'm stupid to drive the P-car in the winter but I live in downtown TO so besides running into Rob Ford in his crack stupor, I think I'll be ok.

I don't commute for work so all my drives are recreational. Getting a brand new set of Alpine PA2 on the car tomorrow and ready to deal with the cold tarmac.

Nice to see all those P-cars tucked away for another Canadian winter.

Must have mats or the car will be resting on the rims by spring

Not sure if you read the rest of the thread but some guys use them some dont. I believe the consensus of those that dont use them, is that there are no ill effects if you are just storing for the winter.
