No fancy garage. I found a nice little spot in the basement garage of a retirement condo...see you in the spring..

Here is another view
The Lotus is in semi-permanent storage until I have time to administer a bit of TLC.
It took 2-3 hours to bolt things together, and about an hour to raise it using the 4 cable winches. It will come down the same way.
fwiw, and before one does thin on their own, I calculated the strength of all the bits and pieces, and the Lotus only weighs 1100 pounds,
carefulif you do something like this - your results could easily vary.

Big deal. An ice storm!! Oh no!! I can't even remember the last time we had one in the GTA. I love when people whine about Cdn weather. I'd rather live here than some place where there are typhoons, tsunamis, unbearably hot summers, etc. We have it pretty good in Canada as far as weather is concerned and risk of natural disasters.
