Do you guys really want to be grouped my model/series? Personally, I'd rather be driving amongst 928s, Carreras, etc. I can see a longhood rear end any day of the week - I'd rather be behind something I don't see every day.

Besides, if all the boxsters and 996s get grouped together, it'll just look like the 401 through mid-town Toronto

 

Why do you want to make groups anyways? I prefer to swith whoever I'm behind after every stop.

 

With this many cars we need to separate into groups, with individual leaders, because the group WILL get separated. Last year (and probably the year before) we had people veering way off route, because the group got separated with traffic, lights, etc. and solo drivers can't really read a map and drive at the same time. So if we break into smaller groups, each of which has a leader with co-driver who can successfully navigate the route with no errors, we have way less people getting lost.

 

Christien . i agree we need groups , and i wil offer to lead one of them as i have done the run a few times, if my son comes i will at least have some type of navigator .. and if we get lost oh well..
but i wouldnt over complicate it ...

put 4 cars in the staging area over in the parking lot and line up behind them 15-20 each line like we did last time . I wont be by the monument up top as i have done it so many times i have tons of pics.
