need help - my 2007 white GT3 - stolen
#31
I saw your wife driving just after she picked up the car...
Would have been early afternoon last saturday, 2ish and I was coming down Sumach to King and making a left and this crazy white GT3 is coming north, I make a left and it makes a right (both east) and pulls beside me at the light on King at River. The owner was driving it very carefully dodging potholes and such. I look over and see a woman driving it and a man beside her. I didn't recognize the owners and thought for a moment isn't that M. Tekla in the passenger seat but this guy looked slightly younger wearing a black bomber jacket could have been a Porsche or auto brand jacket. I looked in the rear view mirror and thought, serious rig, 07 GT3, RS wing, crazy, front air diffusers/deflectors, looked slammed and corner-balanced, the works. Sorry to hear about the situation.

thats it for sure - apparently that is exactly when they let her leave
the service guy was informed that with 100% certainty she does not have insurance and they called the police - the police said if her name is on ownership she can have it (which it is because we came from the states and I maintained a Canadian license when there) - but the police said if you think she isn't insured then they can come out - and asked if they wanted them to come out - to which the moron service guy said no - and then she left
whoever the person is that was with her i think has convinced an alcoholic that he can unload the car quickly - even though the Court has said differently - she is a cyclical alcoholic and went off the deep end a few months ago - then the insane unpredictable stuff started
if anyone might know who this guy is I would appreciate an email, pm, or call

Also a good reason to maintain a Panamanian bank account.

i'm more astonished really that someone thinks they can unload a car - since it hasn't appeared anywhere, my guess is 'he' bailed on the attempt to sell it outright and she has stashed it somewhere - or worse it is getting stripped for parts - just awaiting court date to force disgorgement - but if she doesn't show and is passed out somewhere it is going to be hard if not impossible
somewhere on some lot or garage sits my car - hopefully in one piece
let me know if you see it or hear if someone is parting out gt3 parts

Hopefully it doesn't end up there. Wreckers are notoriously bad for checking titles or liens. I'm suing a wrecker for not releasing a leased car a customer took there. He couldn't tell the difference between the plate and vehicle portion of the car and didn't notice the lessee didn't own it.
