Default Simply tire, simply awesome!

I bought a set of Bridgestone 760 sports from them yesterday. Brought my wheels in and they had me in and out in 30 minutes. No need to buy from the US with these guys around, price works out the same and they are local if you have a problem.

Thanks to Zookie for mentioning them here in one of his posts otherwise I would never known they existed.

When he says tires only..... what extra charges does he have? His other prices seem to include installation and balancing....

These guys are the best. In and out in 20 mins when I get my snow tires. Unlike most places which will take you hours ...

Come on...lets get real, the tire prices in Canada is not even close to compared to buying in the US. Zook will second me on that. Theres guys may be have agressive pricing and good service but they cant touch the prices in the US.

You have to shop around I find and tire size means a lot. I found a set of X-Icei2's on at regular pricing at Costco cheaper (including M&B) then Simply Tires yet if you check other brands or sizes Canadian Tire can be cheaper.

I did a match up of two different brands and matched sizes across Simply Tires, Can Tire and Costco against the Tire Rack. Including the cost of mounting up here the Tire Rack was between $100 to $150 cheaper and they deliver in under 3 days if in stock. If that is a savings that is important to you then go for it I say. You still have to book with a tire shop up here to have them mounted so that can be an issue.

If you really want to save time and money a short day trip across the border - leave the car and take a cab to a mall for an hour or two and then return home... Just take the 'shine' off the tire and cut those nibs off when you go past the booth.

For some all this 'hassle' isn't worth it and then there is the idea of contributing to 'our' economy to think about - but everyone's mileage may be different as they say.
