Smile New To Porsche

Hello,
I would like to buy my first USED porsche ever. Was wondering if someone has tips for me when buying the cheapest porsche from a dealership like pfaff or DFC.....
Any help would be appreciated
Ronnie.

New or Used? if you go to Pfaff talk to Stuart D or John H... If you want to Save $$$$$, buy from the US but add 25-30% to the US Price you pay for the Car by the time that car is in your Drive Way... If you want to no Hassle and CPO buy Local...

hi there

I didn't buy from a dealer, I bought private.but here are some points to to start, others will jump in here and help also.

1- the Rennlist community is very friendy and helpfull.
2- research the model, might be better to spend a little more to get a better condition. meaning cheaper is not always better.
3- list the car you are thinking about, maybe someone here knows of it, or maybe has already owned it. alot of RL's have sold to other RL's.
4- ask for pros vs cons here
5- from what I read here, Pfaff vs DFC = 'night and day difference' use the search tool here

"Cheapest" is very subjective. Have you decided on any particular model? I believe dealers would have stock of later models, but if you are looking for something a bit older but still in very good shape check out the PCA classifieds as well as the Rennlist classified. Many of those cars are well sorted and reasonably priced. I don't know the car or owner but there was a 996, 99 I think, with aero kit, for $24,000 US. Gorgeous car too, based on the pics. https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...ro-6speed.html
Looking at the ad i see that a sale was pending.

get a better lower mileage car for same money but not from dealer. save the gst buy private. try here, and pca. be sure to have the car inspected at and independant shop, even if from dealer. also take the car to a body shop to find out about accident history. use carfax to search the vin. get the newest model you can afford. what are you looking at?

As Bruce Anderson would say, "Buy the newest Porsche you can afford."

No such thing as a "cheap(est) Porsche". Buy the best one you can afford. If the price seems too good to be true, it most certainly is with these cars.
