Spring has sprung and this car is back up for sale after a winter snooze.
1993 VW Corrado VR6 Turbo
Fitted with a turbo in 1994. First known Turbo VR6 in North America.
This engine was built to handle 24psi. I ran a max of 18psi when it was intercooled.
Dyno'd at ~310whp at 18psi with the previous, restrictive exhaust manifold. New one was designed to breathe much better.
Intercooler was removed because it was in a low, dangerous spot. My attention moved to a new project that fell into my lap, so it had not yet be replaced with a better fitting one.
The Inside:
94+ black cloth Recaro seats
Late 93 dash w/round heater controls
Momo Course steering wheel, shift ****/boot
Momo shift **** & boot
Boost/Wideband/EGT in place of head unit
The Outside:
Factory moonroof
90mm european front spoiler
16" Porsche Design 90 wheels
H&R Adapters
Hot Bits coilovers, can be wound down much further than shown (external rebuildable valving)
Factory grill, badgeless available (few broken tabs)
Euro spec headlights w/bulb relay kit
Carbon fiber hood (very subtle against the black paint)
Respray about ~10 years ago.
Deleted antenna and rear VW badge (welded plate & fill)
Deleted exhaust cutout
Half tinted tail lights
Side mirror glass updated with Corrado-club.ca version from back in the day (slight blue tinge)
Tinted front turn signals (removable film)
Poly suspension bushings
11.3" front Drivers Edition brakes
SS brake flex lines
The Engine:
SDS em3 standalone engine management (just installed, requires tuning)
2.9 JE Forge low compression pistons ~8.5:1
ARP studs
larger valves with 3 angle valve job
Port & polished head
Turbonetics T04B Turbo (.63?)
Custom equal length exhaust manifold built by H2Sport
Tial wastegate
42lb injectors
Custom tapering log style intake manifold
3" turbo back exhaust, no cat, single muffler, downturn tip (passed emissions with no issue the last time I did it!)
oil cooler
FMIC was in a dangerous spot (very low) and was removed. No intercooler at the moment.
Upgraded high pressure fuel pump
HKS SSQV BOV rerouted to intake
The Transmission:
Spec Stage 3 Clutch
Quaffe limited slip differential
linkage mount points modified for shorter throw
The Bad:
A light street tune has been done, but will require further tuning for WOT goodness.
HVAC fan switch requires replacement
Moonroof only tilts, does not slide
Steering wheel tilt lever was misplaced. :/ I think a B3 Passat one is the same.
The Price:
$8900 CAD as you see it.
Subtract $600 if you supply your own wheels.
Will consider partial trades for 17"-18" 5x130 wheels.
This is a driver's car, but it's not beat up and it doesn't have a single door ding. However it has some some stone chips on the front bumper.
Other than that, the paint should brighten back up with a pro buffing.
The interior looks really great but could use a wet vacuuming after many years of storage.
Somewhere along the way I lost the more direct picture of the driver's seat somewhere along the way. It is in the same condition as the passenger's seat, with no tears or wear marks.
On with the pics!

125CC Pit Bike
ATTENTION Grown-up children!!
For sale my barely used 4speed 125CC pit bike dirt bike. Perfect for the cottage or racetrack paddock. This is a Chinese bike that's a carbon copy of a Honda 125CC. Ran a few years ago, but has been sitting since. Needs a bit of TLC to get it running again; new gas, a quick carb tuneup and it's ready to go... (Though, it might start up right away; I haven't tried)...
It's taking up room in the garage and gotta go! I'll post pics tonight. $450 takes it away with a spare set of street tires... Sweet little toy!

Sorry Jakob I was picturing a pit scooter rather than a little MX bike...

WTB: 911 Turbo in Canada (Have M3 Trade)
Hello!
LF: trade my M3 plus cash (up to Cdn $30k) for a stock 911 turbo in central Canada (could go further because of the trade). Please PM for details; low mileage, cab, green metallic, several performance upgrades, US spec E36 (last year, a '99), pics and videos available (the sound!). It's originally a US vehicle imported into Canada, so US members might take advantage, here.
1999 E36 M3 , Manual, Fern Green over Tan leather, 64K Miles approx. • US spec car has never seen snow and very little rain • maintenance including rear sub frame reinforcement • sports package, heated seat, full auto top and HK system • Supersprint Headers • Ark Catback Exhaust • Performance Clutch and SSK • Lightweight Flywheel • Ground Control Street Kit Coilovers • CAI • Gold BBS RS reps with 245/40/17 rears • Custom Sound System (with sub)
Video for exhaust sound available here:
Inspected by local BMW dealer before winter storage.
