A post from Fchat from Arshad (NSX'er who organized the Fchat runs last summer) . . . fwiw . . .

"I was thinking something like the Collossus or AMC parking lots near 7+400. Current location is great for people on the west end, but not so great for people in Markham, Woodbridge, Richmond Hill, etc. Just something to consider if you are thinking about a venue change anyways..."

@ Eddy: I have the Fabspeed Headers + Mufflers. I won't be attending tomorrow but will be at the Pfaff event on the 29th. Likely be back at the GTG the week after that.

Nice...I'll see everyone tomorrow and will try to make it out to Pfaff to check out your car gteehan...thanks!! I can't wait to hear the bypass pipes as well as I'm sure I'll need earplugs for that Omar. One of my buddies with a 996TT just got his exhaust done as well (I haven't heard it yet either)...I'll see if he can make it as well.

I like that idea since quite a few ppl from the east would elect driving to a closer location. It's actually half the distance. We should at least try it.

I thought of some places that are really central (ie. 401/404) so you can get ppl from both the north/east/west/south and I thought of a few shopping malls Yorkdale (upstairs by the theatre, usually not much cars in the morning), Fairview Mall, York Mills Plaza, Bayview Village,....we can park on the outskirts of the lots where there aren't so many cars. Or does anyone else know of any other suitable location near where the 401/404 intersect? I'm totally new here...but I guess I'm thinking it makes sense. I'm fine with where it is now but just a few suggestions if you guys wanted to doing something more central.

I don't know about that. There's too much congestion in each of those malls,
and a little too much exposure if you ask me.

The general consensus from the regulars that show up every Sat (rain, shine, snow, sleet, etc...) is that we stay more or less in the same general area. We are looking at Artisano's (Islinginton & Titan, N of Queensway) and also at the Queensway Cinemas parking lot (there's a Montana's, Milestone and a Kelsey's, but I don't think any open until 11 am for "brunch").
I don't think that moving to a 401/400 area would increase attendance since some of the regulars that live south and west might not make it out. Besides, we get very good turnouts where we are now...that's why we're looking at moving within the same area. Stay tuned...
