Well, Phil may have found an even better one: it is a bakery/cafe called Artisano (on Islington, jut north of the Queensway). We went there last week and had lunch: good food, plenty of space (even a deck outside where they probably have tables in summer) and a big parking lot.

Yes I think this could be a winner; good coffee and real food available too...since we often linger into lunchtime. I think we might want to wait a couple more weeks (when it's actually warm!) and make a move then for the 1st weekend of May. In the meantime, you guys in the area should check it out.

I don't think Milestones is open before noon though. It's more of a concern when the weather sucks and we want to sit inside, so we need lots of tables/chairs for the ever expanding group.

Be nice, Clive. There are some goods guys on Fchat. It looks like Carbon will come again (he was the 430 last year) & Newman (Boxer) has said he'll stop by - not this week though because RM is having an auction in Toronto this weekend at the International. Gerrit will come & some other guys. The word is filtering out. I have a sticky on Fchat for the GTG.

Looks like this miserable weather may provide some relief for the weekend. I’ll be there this Saturday.
The forecast keeps changing...the latest is a high of 7 with a chance of showers. http://weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca/city/p..._metric_e.html

I do, but you'd have to come here to pick it up and drop it off, unless you need it Saturday, which is the next time I'll be in Toronto.

Here is another place for us to get together:
Every Friday and Saturday at Oregano's, 7:30 till 1:00 Am.
On the corner of Finch and Highway 27 (6620 Finch Ave West).

Big parking lot right in front, front of the place is all glass,
goo coffee (capucino's and expressos if you like), good food,
and good music (I take requests).

So far a 993, a C6 and my 996 C4S, but what if more showed up?

What do you think?

Direcctions:
1. North on 427
2. Right on Finch for 2 Km (on the Left Hand Side)

See you there.

jd - the ideal spot would be closer to a major hwy (or two) since we have guys coming from afar - Burlington, Cambridge etc. That's what makes the current clandestine spot usable. Artisans sounds like it might work.
