Hi Guys - sorry I missed everyone. Son was sick - I needed sleep. Looks like winter has finally found us. Hope it doesn't mean I'll need to wait until the spring to meet everyone.

Thanks for asking.
Went to see Courtney and he found a screw in the tire between the tread blocks. It took him all of 10 minutes to plug it and a grand total of $25. He's really great to be able to take care of it at a moments notice like that. I know that there's been a lot debate on the various forums regarding whether a tire is still safe once it's been plugged or patched. I asked Courtney his opinion and he assured me that if done properly, the tire is as good as new except maybe for extreme track duty. Not that I'd track the car with snows on anyway
. Speaking of track days, he does organize track days at TMP (Toronto Motorsport Park) for his clients. I told him to keep me in the loop and that I might have a few guys interested come spring.And Omar,
I dropped my Razr cellphone on his shop floor and it stopped working; I thought for sure that an iPhone was going to be mine sooner than later...unfortunately it came back to life so I'll have to wait for another "incident"

Lol...gonna have to keep waiting on the iPhone, cisco systems is sueing them over the use of the name iPhone.
I didn't know coutney had track day's at TMP. gonna have to give him a call about that. i was about to post about a possible TMP day either the last weekend of april or 1st weekend of may but if courtney has some stuff in the spring, it looks like we're pretty much covered for track days. I'll definitly attend those, running TMP with a bunch of porsche's would be wickid, i'm tired of integra's and scoobie's slowing me down

Yep, I'd love to see an all-Porsche day at TMP. Depending on #s, I might even be convinced to host a bbq at my place after the day wraps up. It'd be on the way home for most folks. (2 mins. off the 403, 5-7 min. west of the QEW/403 split).

i'll let courtney know that we have a group of people interested. I might bow out of organizing a day this year, I need 2 get the uber996 ready to race.

Seriously, though, a couple summers ago we had my court full of Porsches, and it was a great sight. I'll see if I can dig up some pics tomorrow - it needs to be repeated!
