Hey Phill too bad I didn't have a piece of paper with me at the airport , I was going to leave the " sorry i hit you , I hope the damage isn't too bad " note on your car, since you wern't there today the whole week of looking for the damage might have killed you . All I had was my business card and that might have given the game away.

Hi Guys, I appologize, wasn't able to make it this Saturday. I will make a point of showing up next Saturday though. Thanks for the welcome guys.
I thought I would let you know a little bit about myself as I'm new on the forums. I'm 19 years old, and work part time at a car dealership in the Etobicoke area called Autoforum.
As the weather gets nicer I hope to bring some neat cars to the meets. We have a Porsche 959, and a Jag XJ220 -- might be able to get those out when the nice weather is here to stay and they come out of storage.
Hope to meet you guys soon.

Welcome to the forum Dave. Just for your info, we also have some Ferrari guys showing up at the Saturday meeting (only in summer and when the sun is shinning... I am wondering why...). Therefore, feel free to bring out a Ferrari From my last visit at Autoforum (about 2 months ago to take a look at the black 928 GTS for a fellow Rennlister), I remember there were quite a few F-cars in your stock. See you next Saturday.

Well, the 959 is technically sold to one of our good customers, however it is still at Autoforum for storage, and I guess its always for sale at the right price !
We just got in a 2005 Ferrari 575m F1... it is quite the beast!

Dave, welcome to the group. I took a spin by Autoforum a few months ago when I heard the 959 was in there. You guys were closed, but I spent a good 20 minutes skulking around the front and side, just drooling at the sight in front of me! So if you saw some short guy with spiky blond hair on your security camera lurking suspiciously, that was just me ogling!!
If you're at all able to get that car out, name your price, I'll pay it for a ride in it! I've loved that car since well before I was old enough to drive.
Chris

ok...a 19 year old who works part time at auto forum will be allowed to take the inventory out for a ride? either dave is deluded or auto forum is insane...im thinking dave is deluded....however if "dave" ( davina??) is a hot 19 year old girl im sure something could be worked out

Probably not my place to suggest as I've not been out yet - although its not for a lack of wanting. It's too far for us p-car people in the east end to make it. Any way it could be something more central - like 400 and hwy 7 area? Just an idea. Once it gets warm and sunny, I'll make the drive wherever.

400 & 7 doesn't work for me...totally on the other side of the city. As one of the founding fathers of the GTG, I vote we stay central west side...many of the regulars are in Mississauga, Cambridge, Burlington & Hamilton. I'll start looking around next week for a larger spot (with good coffee of course!).
