I have a 997.2 and want to upgrade the exhaust (headers, x-pipe, muffler - the whole system).
I have 2 quotes - FAB Speed and FVD Brombacher.
What do you guys recommend? Is there another manufacturer I should check out? I want to do it right the first time.
Cheers

Considering the cost/performance, the gains for doing all this will be either marginally or not noticeable by the driver. Therefore, best bang for the buck is to modify the existing mufflers to make the car sounds a little more performance oriented.

If you are going Fabspeed or FVD sounds like cost is no object. If so I think Tubi would be worth checking out (know there is a system for the .1 but not sure about .2) or Akropovic, Soul etc
Cheaper way to do it is just to get the cross pipe to eliminate the centre muffler and get gundo hacked cans. Many people are quite satisfied with this combo for a fraction of the price
Have you checked out the 997 forum? There are literally hundreds of threads on this topic
But as mentioned what sounds good to someone isnt necessarily good for the next guy. On my .1 I have x51 headers, AWE 200 cell cats and gundo cans. To me its perfect (like the Trump call), aggressive, raw and a little over the line. I love it but some people would find it a little too loud I am sure

I went with cargraphic sides and sharkwerks centre bypass on my 997.2. I'm happy with it.
Always best to listen in person.
There will no doubt be some Black Friday deals for sure, so good time to buy if you know what you want.
Pfaff Tuning also does their own exhaust mod which people have been happy with.

On my 996 I did Top Gear 200 cell cats along with a Gundo hack on my mufflers and it sounded really mean on the throttle and subdued at cruise with no drone. The high flow cats woke it up power wise a bit. Whole thing cost me around $700 cdn and I installed myself.
