My car was a 2002 Carrera 3.6.

Cats from here:

https://www.topgear.co.uk/porsche-91...ll-sports-cats

This is my muffler mod that cost me $100, done at a local shop.

Here’s what it sounded like at Deals Gap.

Had Pfaff do their McCarthy mod on my 997.2.
More expensive than the gundo hack, but very happy with the result. Sound only, no performance improvement.

I did the Fabspeed Exhaust on my 997.1 Carrera S (Headers Sport Muffler Cat Delete and Chrome tips, Cold Air Intake) Don't think there was a lot of power gain but sounds good.
Have sold the the Carra S and bought a 997.TT and installing a Speedtech Exhaust with 200 cell Cats and 3" outlets. Not completed yet so will be interested to hear what is like. If there video is true should sound good.
Also doing a Cobb stage 2 tune.
If you go to the thread on here for Reminiscent of summer you can hear the Fabspeed Exhaust from inside the car.
Also here is a sound clip of the car.

What do you mean by "gundo'd" mean?

Look at my pic above. That is the Gundo mod. You can also do the Fister style which puts a connection pipe directly between the inlet and outlet to allow a portion of the gases to bypass the muffler. Mine above mimics how Porsche builds their PSE, just on theirs they have a valve that turns it on and off.

As I suggested before, you really should check out the 997 board as there are 100's of threads on there about gundo's, cross pipes, cats, headers, after market systems etc etc etc

Not even sure how Fabspeed and FVD are in the same sentence. FVD is top notch.

We've completed R&D and we're building the components for our exhausts. Expect replacement side mufflers, center mufflers, and headers. We'll be posting up a development thread soon.
