My 2 cents

As Paul told me, there's crack cocaine, which is pretty addictive. Then there's track cocaine -- once you've had a hit of that you're pretty much screwed!

I will have some problem attending on the proposed sept date - probably cant do earlier than 22nd. sept Keen though. Nov might be freer but likely to be recovering from targa if too early.

Just thought i would post this for any 964 owners looking for lightweight track wheels in 18" fitment. A friend with a 964 in the Uk just put me onto these. OZ Alleggerita HLT. They ome in 6 different colour and in 964 rear ET 43 fitment. They weigh 7.8kg front and 8.4kg rear and are strong. They are $1700 USD from tirerack.com for a set. Im may look into a set for the 993 (they do ET65 rear fitment too) as I have just ordered 18" Hankook 221 rubber. the look great and apparently stand up to abuse as well as being the lightest 18" you can pretty much get.

If anyone is interested please let me know as Im happy to share shipping costs from tirerack to NZ....

Hi John. No they dont sell 221s in the states. Infact they seem to be a "down under" offering at the current time. I bought mine from Brian (sales@megatyre.co.nz) on the Shore. Peter put me onto him and hes excellent to deal with. They wouldn't have been any cheaper form the states or UK. A set of 225/255 on 17 is under 1600 nzd fitted and balanced and the 18s were 1890...

Thanks for the info. I'm sticking to 17in so I can alternate road and track tyre sets with the same suspension settings.
