At the end of last year, there were 912 Porsches registered here. If you hang around the main business/ finance or shopping districts, you'll probably see some 996s, 997s, 986s, 987s and Cayennes running around.
In general, due to various vehicle population control measures imposed by the Government, over 80% of the car population here is under four years old. Similarly, newer Porsches seem to outnumber the air-cooled brigade etc. quite significantly (although I would think Porsche owners are less sensitive to the vehicle population control measures since they are usually less price-sensitive).
The local Porsche club had a "breakfast drive" into Malaysia last Sunday and will have a full day track session at Sepang on Friday March 9th. On the social front, the club's Chinese New Year reunion dinner should be this week, maybe Thursday March 1st I think.
Enjoy your stay in Singapore. There's a Carrera GT in the showroom at the main Porsche dealership in Sungei Kadut if you're interested...

The figures are from the Land Transport Authority.
Go to www.lta.gov.sg > Corporate > Facts and Figures > Motor Vehicles > Car Population > By Make.
They don't give info on specific models, only makes/ brands.

Hi all, I've been posting over at caymanclub.net and sort of forgot about this forum.
Definitely nice to see fellow SG Porsche owners!
I echo the suggestion about the MY b-road drives, heck of a lot of fun, and some really great food to be had along the way.
Here's my ride, let's see some more pics!
