Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
I have become a bit of a tyre "expert" recently having just put together a 100 unit @group buy" of Pirelli and Michelin tyres that leave the UK for NZ tomorrow...
The tyre you are referring to are the PS4S not to be confused with PS4. The PS4S is an entirely different tyre made in the Motorsports factory in France from compounds similar to the latest Cup2 tyres also made in the same factory. They are the new replacement for the Supersports but only made in 19" plus fitment. They are a 300TW road tyre that seem to fit between the SS and Cup2 in terms of ultimate grip and handling.
For your 18" you have the choice of the older PS2 or the later Supersport. I've used both extensively in 18" fitment in your sizes, and although they are both good the SS would certainly be my preference....
The PS4 is positioned below the PS2 and the SS as a general purpose road tyre etc. the price reflects this....

Thanks for that Macca, very useful and removes my confusion!
Let me know if you're planning another group buy.
Cheers.
Just wanted to say hi to the rest of NZ member Enjoying my 15 981 GTS as my first Porsche for now, such a fantastic car in my opinion.
I am also looking for a 997 for extra seats and to sell the 981 to save some $.
Is there a local Porsche group or gather in Wellington? Would be great to meet other enthusiast as well.

Welcome Bennz
As John says FB killed this thread. Shame as FB is tiring and most of us got a bit sick of reading crumbs there. Sometimes it’s nice to take bites and chew when it comes to conversation and banter.A few of us still check back in here once a month or so - don’t be afraid to post...
Sounds like a 911 might fit the bill for you though you might actually enjoy an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio more :-)

Ultimately, it's content that determines traffic, albeit the software platform has a part to play as well e.g. it's not helpful that the Rennlist app I used to use is incompatible with iOS 11.
