That was a pretty sneaky pass you put on me coming out of the octopus a few laps into the enduro. I didn't really want to be in the middle of your race with Scott at that point anyway and there was plenty of time.

I was standing on top of the tower and could see your car stuck. I felt bad for you to end up there after being in the lead.

Hope the car survived no problem.

Nice driving Frank........ It was brutally hot and humid Friday and warm on Saturday. Never so excited to see the checkers....

Another great race weekend hosted by Schattenbaum.

Great weekend. Thanks to Peter and the Schattenbaum folks for putting on another reality nice event.

As a PSA, let me remind everyone that you have to complete a lap under Green after a double Yellow before entering the pits for the mandatory stop. So if you are a dummy who is P1 and you get the Green flag don't go into the pits that lap only to realize you need to drive through and do another lap or you will end up finishing the Enduro in P11. Ask me how I know.

Don't feel so bad - the flagging/safety car situation all weekend was ... odd. And stopping everyone on the main straight - WTH?!?

A lot of people made that mistake. I was wondering if they were going to enforse it.

That stop merits some discussion.

Big screw up.

And a profound effect on the finishing order.

A double yellow came out and they stopped us on the front straight. For about 2:40. Guess the pace car didn't pick up the leader. Again. There were cars in the pits and they got the mother of all lucky dogs. Nothing like getting to do your pitstop while the rest of the field is stopped am I right?

Not their fault.

PCA should have stopped the clock and released the cars from the pits after the field got moving again. Maybe they could have treated it like a red flag. I don't know what that does of you are in the pits though.

P1 (no offense to P1 at all here) finished 37 seconds ahead of P3 because he was the lucky dog. Now what happens if P3 isn't stopped for almost 3 minutes? I would bet that P3 and P4 (maybe more) finish ahead of P1 by about 1 minute had they been allowed to continue circulating the track during the yellow.

A bit of a snafu.
