Recaro Polo Position Recall: Updates?
Wanted to get a new thread going on this. I think most of us have reached out to Recaro and put our names in and blah blah and heard NOTHING.
I just talked to my Shop and they have been working with someone at Recaro US, and the buck seems to be getting passed around with no action.
So, anyone have any NEW or OTHER information?

None here. Losing patience. In my world a formal demand letter is next. Hate to have to do that. What poor customer service. Used to think very highly of Recaro. It would be so easy for them to have a website or blast email with current info.

We have been trying to get a repalcement seat for three weeks, with promises that one was shipped (not really). Talked to Germany, US, retailers, and no one is getting any help from Recaro.
I wish I did not like the Recaro seat so much. I want to thank Stable Energies for all their help in getting a new seat of a different brand put in for the WG race.

I say send the demand letter , it might help them get with the program on this. I'm sure the company attorney will help them understand the urgency of getting this resolved before it erupts into a marketing nightmare.

Got a call back today. Emailed a form, need to fill it out with pictures of FIA sticker, bottom of seat sticker, and invoice dates after 11/1/2012 for free replacement.

Form and paperwork submitted, supposed to get a response today. They confirmed they received it.

Completed form they sent
Picture of each FIA sticker on side of seats
Picture of serial number and part number sticker on bottom of seats (near the lower belt hole)
copy of itemized shop receipt for the seats (mine had seats, risers, adapters, sliders, install)
I haven't gotten a request for any additional info at this point, just a confirmation that they should ship in July and I'd get a confirmation once shipped.
Hopefully no more bumps!
