Well, getting that kind of specification data from Porsche is pretty tough. I had a VERY EXPERIENCED Porsche MeisterTech (or whatever they call a 30-year+ Porsche technician) dig for over an hour to find the info! Not on the wiring diagrams, not in the workshop manual... finally found in the diagnostic procedure - but REALLY buried!

Good deal. That will save you a lot of time pouring fuel into your car!

One of the coolest new features in the custom sensors in RS3 is that they made it so you can input ohm readings from a sensor along with the pull up resistor value and it will make the curve for you. No more extra figuring involved!

You can do it 2 or 3 gallons at a time, it will just affect the accuracy a bit. It's not hard, it just takes some time.
Still would recommend one at a time.

Wow. That's a great feature! The racepak software would do that, and i really missed it when I moved to AiM with a bunch of non-AiM sensors!

Here is the custom sensor screen. Just put select Ohm instead of mV and put in the pull up resistor size. It will then do the rest for you!

If anyone needs a spreadsheet to do this for MXL Pista or Evo4 systems, shoot me an email and I'll send it to you.

RS3.03.11 released. This fixes a bug that caused the temp sensors to read incorrectly.

The new release is now available using web update software button or using the following link:

http://www.aim-sportline.com/aim-sof...210_172749.exe

Configurations created with 3.03.10 need to be transmitted again using release 3.03.11.

This release fixes:

behaviour of Pt100 temperature sensor
possible crash when RS3 starts
missing distance of system odometer
other minor bugs.

Jerry, I am all ears! Would be great to validate the 10-310 Ohm range we found in the 996 diagnostics. Stock 64L fuel tank (street version, not a fuel cell). 2001 GT3 Cup.

How hard is it to get Data from a ViPec V88 Ecu for use in the MXL2?

It depends on which exact V88 you have, but it shouldn't be too hard. Find the instructions at http://www.aim-sportline.com/eng/dow...g.htm#racing48 Click on the exact version you have and go from there.

Let me know if I can help you out with an MXL2, the connection, or any other questions.

I have a race car in my family with a ViPec and have connected it with AiM products via serial and CAN methods and can share that our protocol works very well. You will be pleased.
