I didn't say he didn't have experience. I said his actions were not of someone who has experience. Assuming Clarke's encounter was accurate. There are a lot or racers with ton's of experience that don't get it and probably never will.

Yeah, there was no argument. Clarke and I both appreciate direct, frank talk, which is what friends do. He and I are more in agreement on this situation than it may appear here.

A bit late to the party, some vid of the GT3R. my first time in the car, first time at WGI since doing like 4 rain laps in Continental a few years ago during testing before that got scrapped. not enough laps maybe only 20 over the 2 days, and its a leap of faith track with tons of camber in some places that takes time to figure out. very cool track. i think i could have gotten flat in 2,3 had i gotten another 1/2 dozen looks at it without traffic. i think the carousel offers another 1 second. i think the car has to be stiffened a bit for as the speeds came up, it started to fall a bit on its nose, but not too badly. and i think the fast left and last turn onto the finishing straight offered a bunch as i figured out the camber without figuring out the wall. i think that car gets to the 150s, maybe high 149s. As Dave Scott said, "dude, you live 3 hours from Watkins and this is your first time here? WTF?" Agreed.

That guy was most definitely a danger.Crashes in the cup group have always been an issue.I was lucky to avoid a few more car than talent cars.I felt badly for John who got hit.Atleast he did not get a 13.What was amazing to me was it appeared that the blue car was unaware he had a tire smoking /rubbing.
Nice video.The start at the end was my favorite.The 511 car got a good jump!
