It's got a $50 RAM suction cup mount with it. Doesn't look like the CAN leads have ever even been hooked up. It's a deal.

Here's the mount you want to get...

Amazon.com: RAM Mounting Systems RAP-B-166-2U Composite Suction Cup Mount: GPS & Navigation Amazon.com: RAM Mounting Systems RAP-B-166-2U Composite Suction Cup Mount: GPS & Navigation

This mount will allow you to mount it near the driver's side A-pillar to the left and above the steering wheel.

Yes, the best position is mounted above the dash, low on the left side near the pillar.

Actually, the mount included with this Solo DL is a better RAM mount. Not "composite" but aluminum arms and ball flanges. I always recommend the upgraded RAM mounts and supply only those for in-car safety.

If the buyer is reading this, please email me and I'll talk you through proper configuration changes needed to be used with specific models of the car you're using it with.

Thanks. It included a nice metal ram mount. Will put it to right of a pillar for now. I'm putting it in a 2007 .1 rs. I've updated the firmware, latest maps loaded, race studio, set for gt3 protocol, config saved to device, etc. I need to tap into the can bus near the fuse box. Unit is not too intuitive but I'm decently technical and figured it out.

Couple questions
Do you have a pic of the wires to tap? I'm good with electrical and soldering.

Do you have any screen shots of the best timers and custom screen examples to use while driving for lap improvement real time? I'd like to at least get a few things setup before next event.

Thanks
