I was watching this car race one of the runs on the balcony of the Chateau, smoking a cigar and couldn't stop laughing?? What was wrong w/ this car that every time he ran coming into the hairpin, he'd have to pull his DOOR SHUT??? The first time it happened, I thought "holy cow?" But, then it happened again, and again, and again
I finally figured out he was so good, he shifted, straightened the car out, pulled the car shut, shifted and off he went I have a video of it if I can get ambitious and post it somehow.

Hi Deacon. Thank you for introducing yourself on the Grid. Sorry we didn't catch up after our run.
I'm confident the gremlins have been weeded out. Car ran w/ no problems. Now, I'm able to concentrate on the car, temp, handling, tire pressure adjustments, etc.
Too bad the weather SUCKED so stinking bad.
As we in Cleveland always say w/ our sports teams... "there's always next year."
BTW, Juan you ran great! It was fun timing you. Way faster than the crowd.

I didi it!
Here's the short clip.
Juan, if you don't want it up anymore, let me know. I'll take it down at your request.
In my mind, it honestly shows how experienced and good you really are. You've got driving so down to a science that your rhythm handling that one extra step (of closing your door) was like clockwork, especially at the Hairpin, which is in my humble opinion the single most difficult turn on the track!

Track was slow this year after the wash out we had. I was about 1.5 secs off the pace. Not bad for my GT6 on DOT's!

You got it Rich! Too bad the Cup has proper latches since with the sequential i will have more time to close the door....
I was afraid someone would accuse me of using air brakes . How would that show up on their black box?
I had to battle that on all right hand turns. Great learning experience Peter. Something to think of for your curriculum.
