Frank, Rick made available the R6's for me as they were an available set. Usually I run the Hankooks. But with so much track time 3 sprints and an enduro one set couldnt make the weekend.
Are you coming down to VIR for the ALMS support race ITC will be hosting?

Fun weekend at NJMP. My Silver Bullet GT4S car had mechanical issues saturday morning so I was unable to compete in that class. One of my buddies lent me his Boxster S F Class car, so I ran the sprint and enduro on Sunday. Started last in the sprint and made it to 15th, 2nd in class behind Doug D.. The enduro was fun - had some code browns at 6:00, 11:50 and 28:15. Made it to 5th overall and then botched the pitstop and got black flagged for 25 seconds, which killed me. I really enjoyed running in the yellow/Orange races - good group of dudes, for sure.

Thank you much to all the volunteers and those that made it possible, was a very good event,
My first time to the track, nice how close it was (despite traffic there and back making it seem further away ...who woulda thought 95 would have traffic.
was having issues (leaking caliper, etc) first day so i was thinking of other things than the track....then noticed i was holding up a SP2 car....pointed him by and tucked in behind....low and behold 1 lap and he opened my eyes to teh track....THANK YOU and sorry if i held you up too long.
had some really good racing out there, unfortunately there was also alot of carnage it seemed andi hope all are ok and cars are repaired quickly. off track really tears a car up with the ruts, holes, bumps etc and some of the cars didnt play so nice in passing and some elevated tempers at teh end of a few races were seen but what can ya do i know its a two way street.
Sean was FLYING out there, had some good battles with him and Del, and had some good luck that put me out front all weekend so i cant complain.
third sprint was just fun....got a great start and tried to get out far enough to disable Del and Seans DRS advantage....got lucky and did but then got stuck behind a car droping some fluid and went from 8 seconds out front to seeing their rear flaps open in the DRS zone ....and sean seemed to have extra KERS button this weekend
definately a good event though....top of the tower was a great place to watch though i heard there was a guy on the radio running people over (including my wife holding a 6mo old and 3yr old) watching the car he was radioing for.
enduro was fun cept for the stopwatch malfunction so my 15sec lead was cut to .001 at t1.

lots of fun at NJ once again. always surprised this event isn't better attended. guess it's vacation time.
I ran great first sprint was out in front again for most of second sprint until I had an oops and gave it up to Evan and Del. Then pushed to hard to try and get it back at the end of the race and had another oops. This one cost me though. Broke the left rear drop link and my mirror
Unfortunately I broke something else yet to be diagnosed and just had to putt around in sprint three
Here are my two oops moments in sprint 2

Ummm, it's actually not a two way street out there. Specifically all the cars are supposed to go just the one way. Maybe that was your problem

Steve- great racing with you as always . Sorry you couldn't make the second race . However you did win the workers choice for that race ( glad the workers are so observant ) Thanks for diagnosing my clutch issue .
Tiv and his guys were awesome, without you guys I would have never been able to race. My car will be going to him as soon as I can recoup some of the money I spent on tires

rear view of enduro - just the start is cool, rest is mostly boring- skip to 3:40 for start

It was my first time running the full NJMP club race, and I had a blast!
Sean, I went off in those same places... and I also took the "grass line" from T3 to T4. I'm amazed by how much run-off there is all around the track. It encourages you to push hard and try to extract every little ounce of speed.

^ Oh yeah, the grass line between T3 & T4. I might know that one
First time down, really like the track. Thx to everyone for a well run event.
Dan, holy crap, the back end of that boxster looks a little, uh, lively.
Will post some vid asap.
