My wife lets me have both P-cars and F-cars and I can say with experience that the Ferrari events are a real sh*t show. LOFT problems everywhere (lack of f-ing talent) but the scenery that these guys bring are awesome. The Ferrari Club has hired umbrella girls at all club racing event to present the awards and greet the cars as they leave the pits.

Back from the Ferrri Club meeting. Had a great time, nice people, and a terrific talk by Alain, who can make even terrible crashes sound funny. It was good to catch up with Paolo, too.
Club president was telling me about the actuator they needed to replace on her Challenge car - $20,000. Yikes!
There we're several Ferraris in the parking lot (though we still have snow, the roads were dry).
A few were 1960s vintage front engine V-12s. Nice
I took the Mini.

Which 'Ferrari Club" are you referring to? Pretty sure the Ferrari Club of America does not have a club racing program. So are you referring to the the official Ferrari Challenge Series that is put on by the factory or the Challenge Club Racing series for vintage challenge cars (355, 360, and 430)?

And by 'experience', have you raced in the series or simply watched the one or two corners visible to a spectator?

Great speaker Alain de Cadenet, very nice people and the club president (a woman) and SCCA club racer was very hospitable after she found out that myself and Rick raced porsches......

A big thanks to Rick (and Dave) for inviting me......

The Ferrari guys don't actually watch Formula 1 so they wouldn't really notice that it is from 2012.
