Is there a spot on the ticket that says you won't use any pics or video taken at the race? I'm sure people posted stuff on their Facebook accounts. Can NASCAR block that too???

rarely enforced...except in stuff like this.

A friend of mine has is on his FB. He took a video of the video. Not much to see except the debris spray as the cars come by then right next to the camera guy on his left as he turns you see the tire sitting right there. Apparently it hit the woman in the stomach/chest.
Other home videos of the wreck from much farther away are still up.

That tire landed close to the camera holder. All I could see was another fan took off his t-shirt near the tire. I'm assuming someone was bleeding.

I'm amazed they could jump on it so fast. They must have contingency plans in place with YT that they can activate in these cases.

Wow the video on deadspin from the fans view is crazy. One shot the camera guy is standing there the next shot he and his huge camera at gone. I hope he and the fans are ok.

I can't help but think this will bring about more changes to safety at these tracks. Those catch fences work wonderfully until they fail. As seen in this example, it goes wrong in a hurry.

I'll take the heat, but you want to sit next to a race track that has 2000+ lb cars hurtling around at 200+ MPH, everyone can't wait to see the crashes, and now we are saying "Oh My, someone in the stands got hit by a tire"? Are you KIDDING me? How about we put the stands in a televised arena? WTF?

Gary You're right. NASCAR engineers drama into everyone of these races with their Green/White/Checker scenarios. They want the close finish and mass competition, which equates to "demolition derby" on the last lap. We'll see what the fall out is, if any.
