Awesome work getting this done!! I'll be there no question. I have an opinion on the DE aspect but since the conversation seems to have died down and moved towards more aesthetic topics I'll just sit back and watch more .
Awe what the hell. +1 on having a DE with the club race... there I said it.

+ 1 on DE!!! To many loyal supporters of the club to not give them an opportunity for track time, including many instructors that give a tremendous amount of time and effort.
If it’s “about the people” we should put our money where our mouths are when it comes time to a decision.

Tow down for TWS, tow over to the new NOLA track for the first PCA CR there, then tow over to COTA for that club race and then home. I've been told arrangements can be made for tow rig storage, between the events, if you want to run two or three events.
Yes, I agree all of RL should chill out for a while, after reading some of these posts... Have a scotch and dream about how much fun this season is going to be!

I will visit with TWS management on this this weekend. I'm pretty sure it would be possible to pay them to allow you to leave your rig there in between races.

SCCA website was clear said registration for the COTA club race opens 1pm CT on 1/21/13. I logged in at 1:01pm and got a spot no problem and I'm a CalClub'er not a Lone Star member. This event is a BFG SuperTour and a "Major" so the sponser region can't lock it out for their members first. That is not a problem it is part of how the new Major's work. Not only is SCCA committed to the new majors but driver's will be more committed having to travel more to complete at least 3 Majors to qualify for the National Runoffs.
