I expect signup about six weeks before the event, possibly more.
FYI this race is in addition to the race at TWS March 15-17.

Bill, is this just a pathetic attempt to get me to loan you your old car back for this race? Well played sir....Might as well since you're the only one that can fit in those seats. But you'll have to tow it down yourself!

Fork the DE. This race is going to sell out. No reason to run Cups thru H in the same group. Four groups should not be a problem. Dont understand the DE at sell out CLUB RACES.

The PCA DE program feeds club racing and helps finance it quite honestly. Without DE's most regions would not be able to host club races. DE drivers are every regions best "customers". If we can get them on the track, they deserve the track time. It would be max two DE run groups btw.

It seems to me that those who are interested in continuing to have a healthy CR program would be well-advised to encourage DEs -- especially for advanced drivers -- at CR events.

Mike, I understand your logic for most events, but this one is an exception, especially in its first year. I'm not against DE at a club race, except when it limits the racing schedule or creates a large wait list.
Most regions have multiple opportunities for DE but only one race a season, so there are already DE opportunities to encourage more interest.
I paid my DE dues for years and am willing to tow for 14 hours to race there, so please make sure there is room for others like me.

To have a DE with this race would be a total joke. It will sell out within 12-24 hrs.
80-90 cars per run group...... its a blast.
We did not use to have DE's at the big races. This is a RACE---- DE is a separate program.
Regions started adding DE's to the big races races after the economic downturn. Now they need to back off on the DE's or limit the run group to just one. The big races are pretty ridiculous with how crammed the run groups are.
Look at Sebring.....There should not be racers on the wait list with TWO DE groups.
I don't have anything against Drivers Ed, it's a good program that does not need have anything to do with race weekends to be a successful program.
