Shopping for one, but can't click through your link. Rennlist says I'm not authorized to view it.

Here is what the AD says;

Front shield. Tire rack extended by approximately 2" on each side to accommodate eight wide tires (probably 305s). Deadbolt locks for tire rack. Compression plate and grip lock to hold tires in place on rack.

Aluminum American Racing wheels. Steel spare.

Surge brakes serviced and wheel bearings checked and repacked this spring. Believe it's a 2001 model. Purchased two years ago from Rennlister.

Price for new unit would be over $8,000.
Price: $4,800

PM with questions.

Sorry, not sure why the link isn't working for some. Here's the full add:

Let me check on shipping cost. What is the difference between surge brakes and electric brakes?

Surge brakes have a MC in the tongue which works when car brakes and trailer pushes against MC applying hyd pressure to the wheel cyl

Electric brakes use a brake controller on the tow vehicle to apply current to magnets in the brake drum causing the brakes to activate.

Electric brakes are pretty much self adjusting shoes whereas the hyd drum surge brakes require occasional brake shoe adj to prevent chatter.

Otherwise

Electric over hyd disc brakes are the best, then hyd surge disc brakes and I prefer electric over drum surge brakes for their simplicity. IMHO YMMV
