I highly doubt that they can find room in the schedule at the Sebring race to add another run group. Even if they did, there will still be significant speed differentials in the run groups. There will ALWAYS be drivers within the same class that run at significant speed differentials. PCA is CLUB racing, not pro racing so you will always have drivers in cars that are newer, less experienced, crazy at times, unpredictable...oh wait, you even have that in "pro" racing...
80% of the bad stuff we encounter out there is just racing. 20% is stupid and/or dangerous and we have to police properly. I have found that PCA, with proper input from drivers, does a good job on the policing side. You just can't wait to complain or point things out until the race is over and you've logged back in to Rennlist...

We can do a codrive in the enduro if I go. Will be a change for me as I'll be back in a gta1 car. But should be able to hassle some 7 cups and maybe a gt car or two....jk ....on the gt cars...

It would seem a good idea to have higher level license required for the higher level cars as there is a lot more potential for causing problems (similar to air plane ratings for twin engine , jet etc). At the Rolex race in NJ where we do a single PCA race group you could clearly see the issues caused by poorly driven cups that you could not get away from. The truth is you can do a 5 day race school and get a license to race a state of the art race car. They had a similar issue with airplanes some years back the Bonanza was the hottest plane you could fly with a standard license and there was a large percentage of them wrecked by inexperienced pilots with big bucks.

Not pro racing? Tell the Kelly Moss and TRG guys this............. remember WGI Club Race 3 years ago?
Tons of great points that deserve additional discussion.
IMO, There are issues on BOTH sides of this fence. Inexperienced wallet racing vs Pro drivers doing test and tune during a club race vs Club racers who just want to have fun.

There are TWENTY FOUR GT3 cup cars already on the waiting list...
HELLO!!!
How about a separate run group for GT3 cups and kill the DE? Is it one of the largest PCA club races, or just a gathering of people?
Can't grasp this at all, sorry....

Don't think they can kill the DE this year, but the turnout does help set a precedent; if there are not enough cars to fill 4 groups, open the DE registration, otherwise leave it closed by default. I thought DE was only added because of low turnout at less popular tracks or bad time of year events or tough economic times.

I am one of those cup cars on the wait list.
What is severely bothersome is that when I registered AND PAID when there were only 75 drivers signed up.
So
How the heck can I be wait-listed??
Is anyone else in this situation?
