Nationals GTS Races in 15 Minutes (1:40EST).....
Beemers and P-cars kicking and a gouging in the mud and the blood and the beer (Johnny Cash)....
They still haven't psted Fridays race results so we can't know what the grid is but RL's Chris Streit and Viking's driver Jay Matus are both us front somewhere...

Why in hell didn't they throw at least a local yellow when the 944 was spun and ended up sitting broadside in the middle of a turn for several laps. They went double yellow for much less serious incidents, but this guy was broadside at the apex of a turn and cars were racing around him. There was a visible corner worker behind him just sitiing there. This I truly don't understand....
OK so the broadcasters were just awful as is customary. John Linday would be OK if he was pared with someone with a better grasp of what's happening on on the track. I think that guy just likes to hear himself talk. He just goes on and on and on while missing the important aspects of the race.
The camera director, to his credit, focused on the only race in the last lap between RL'ster's Chris Streit and a Beemer but they switched away at the end to focus on the winner of the overall by 8 seconds. They completely missed Chris's great race to the finish somehow passing the Beemer. Hopefull he'll post his video of how he did that. Congrats Chris!.....

210.45 or so Neal Agran and the 56 car in first place GTS1 collided in thunder valley entrance- both were ok but Neals car is shot- im trailering up tomorrow morning to lend them my car so he can start the race at least in spec944.

Jr - I think they did have a local yellow. At one point somebody was passing right there and you could see the corner worker pointing a finger in anger - guessing because they did have a yellow. But that's just a guess.
What happened to Ott? He seemed to have finished 1st, but I keep reading Josh Smith got the championship. Anybody has more info?

I was GTS 1 #56...it was a bit uncomfortable to say the least sitting broadside to the oncoming traffic after I got hit...real bummer as I was leading the class when it happened...Neal came around and tagged me after I was hit and it put him out too. It was not a good day.
