Ditto. Checked spindle height and wheel width on E class 911s at HPR a few weeks back. Previously I had only been on the scales...

One of the SPBs came to grid with an E on it today. Not sure what that's about.

Allow me to apologize for stacking up pit lane. I'm a dick. Not intentionally but sometimes I am.

I was able to catch some of your races from T1. Good tight racing going on in your group. My yellow day started on pole and with the wife concerned about the weather so I gridded on rains for race 1. Pretty hilarious holding off the field till T8 first lap. I got one race lap then pitted since the course was bone dry. Races 2,3 all had good weather.

Thanks for the kind words guys. A redeeming weekend for me. It started out looking like another chase the problem weekend but it got resolved quickly - Thanks again for the help Bela.

3 Wins (including beating the E field), a track record and worker's choice award - can't ask for anything more.

Unfortunately it wasn't a perfect weekend as Gary had a shunt in the last sprint right behind me exiting the carousel on lap 2 as we were about to have a nose to tail sprint race. There was water running across the track and Gary caught it wrong. Pretty good pop. Gary is okay but the car will need some time and $$$

I kept thinking that it had to dry up sometime but it never did during to the blue race. Sorry to hear about the shunt Gary.

Way to go, Sean. That is a really good buzz. Drive home is so short and easy after a good weekend. Congratulations.

Gary, what a bummer after, what was, a great weekend. I'm happy to hear you escaped unhurt. I hope you get off easy on repair costs. Good luck.

Sean was rocking. I was so sorry to hear about Gary. I love (trying) to run with those guys. It was a fun weekend.

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts. Coming out of the carousel I was 6" off Sean's bumper and thought I was past the stream (could see nothing but dark gray SC) when I went full throttle.... I wasn't. Car did a snap 180 and dropped into the sopping wet grass. I tried steering, brakes, and swearing but she was like an arrow going at the steel wall, downhill backwards at a 45 degree angle. Right rear corner took the worst of it but it is quite fixable (I think!). I was more disappointed not giving Sean the race he has been missing (as I have!) for two years, it was going to be great fun. That wraps up 2012 for me, i'll be back in 2013!
