I think "passive aggressive" is a relationship ploy to avoid conflict. I was being sarcastic in drawing attention to the contradiction of you being a "coach" at the same time as being unreasonable and negative -- you try to turn observation of events into a critique of the driver, not a simple observation of mis-shifts. Do you seriously think I was criticizing the driver? Do you think I was boasting that I've never missed a downshift or purporting to have even sat in a Cup car? (I haven't in most of ten years.) Don't you think your attempt to attack me is just a little inappropriate for a professional coach?

Oh deer.

LOL...divert much, dude?

"Attack"? LOL...whatever you say, bro. Seems it is the other way around, trying to invoke my profession and all.

Keep digging.

Dan,

Not a bad question, but there are a couple of issues at Summit. The race car noise levels are much higher than any whistle and would drowned it out. Summit has 3 tracks and our government uses a big part of the facility for training personnel with real ordinance. The deer in this area have become very comfortable with loud noises ( bombs, gun fire, cars etc). The Scott family has done a really top job of fixing up the track over the past several years and I would imagine are very open to suggestions and I am sure have tried several already.

Do you believe the shifts were clean or the car did not become unsettled and begin to rotate as the rears locked?

Try as you will, casting aspersions does not create new facts.

Clever pun on deer, though I suspect you simply didn't spell the word dear.

In any case, the backpedaling is all yours, you refuse to speak to the original point and would follow down any digression you can make.

I find no embarrassment in letting a few outspoken types with their personal insults neglect the age old advice to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt.

Of course! "Unflattering", "flubbing" and "crunching" are just the words to employ when one is not criticizing Leh's skill...

VR, do you have a pic of Leh Keen slapping his forehead?

Is it too late to take the "over" (over 17 pages)?

The only way the "over" bet is not the winner is if a Moderator steps in and mercifully locks the thread....
