Congratulations Al. I just want to hear it go thru those short gears.....
If Homestead is a PCA event will you need a halo seat and Hans type device for DE'ing? Dave?...... Plenty of time to make sure you're good to go.....

No Halo or Hans required for DE. With the speeds that car is capable of it certainly would be a good idea.

Sorry for late response. I just walked in the door from picking the car up from tampa. 7 hours round trip. Long day but well worth it! I have always used Hans. I got a wife and three young kids that need me home in one piece.
Uscarrera - yes this was John bolles' car. Super nice guy as was tom mchough from vortex who was servicing the car. They both were very open and honest about the cars history. Also Ron Zitza spoke to both for me who also knows the car. l'll be running it as is for now and likely go stock or prepped in time for 48h of Sebring. John and his son were doing 2:16 in the car at Sebring.
996flt - I'm told its 2717. As far what was done, it has lots of carbon, floating rotors, and other light weight components. I will post more specifics as I get into the car more. Right Now I'm counting the minutes to Saturday! Homestead baby!

Rich - I will absolutely take it easy at homestead. My RS even with everything shot off still has a lot of electronic computer assitance. Other than ABS this car has nothing. So I will need some time to get comfortable with everything. Also, was you car for sale on ebay not too long ago? It looks very familiar and I think we may of spoken to. It was there one day and gone the next. Figured it sold. Sweet looking ride.
