Default largest PCA race class?

There are 21 E cars currently entered for the TWS club race, and it has got me wondering what is the largest class to have run in a PCA club race. Anyone know?

Depends on the race and the region. The later cup classes are very popular as well.

If you go to Rennpoints, you can count the numbers of cars in each class nationally. Last year, E class was by far the largest class in PCA with ~125 racers.

As far as the largest number of cars at a given race, I think there were around 30 cars in E class at Road America in 2010... that would have to rank up there...

Seems like they need to split E class up into at least two smaller classes

Obviously I am joking.

I think it is a late Euro SC, IIRC.

I agree based on the results, but you have to look at the drivers also. You always see MH and JB at the top and they both run the Euro SCs.

Big love. Actually it was the heavy G50 3.2 that got the biggest love. The much more common 915 3.2 just got a little (33 lb weight reduction).

But the 3.2 Carreras still have the very restrictive 6400 rev limit while the Euro SC can rev well above 7000... Needless to say, it makes a big difference.

I have a 3.2 G50 !
So stock ECU's then ? Or just stock rev limits ? The 3.2 still makes good power down low, anyone have any dyno charts comparing the Euro SC and the 3.2/G50?

Stock DME/chip for PCA stock class. Aftermarket chip/rev limit for Prepared class.

I have a recent dyno from my car that I'm not afraid to post if someone wants to post up a Euro SC dyno.
