Default Lucas Oil Additives

February 2012 Automobile magazine has a big article on Forrest Lucas and his $$$ .
Does it work?
Do you all use it?
Porsche has always said stay away from additives along with BMW and Mercedes.

I've never used them, but I know that some truckers use a bunch of the products. What I can't figure out is how he sponsors everything under the sun and still has any money. He has a truck racing series, a midget racing series, an NHRA Sportsman series, naming rights to the Colts stadium, 2 top fuel dragsters ($5-10 million a year EACH!), a couple of alcohol dragsters and funny cars, names on every other pro race car, and smaller scale racers everywhere sport his logo as sponsorship. And don't forget the motocross, road bikes, snowmobiles, 4 wheelers, go cars, money in Grand Am and on and on. The stuff must cost $1 to make and be all profit.

Was it 50% of the price of an STP product went to marketing? I'll check with my Dad - he knows.

IMHO Lucas products are sub-standard. I have seen some UOA's from their products and am not impressed at all.

I haven't used very many Amsoil products and have never did any testing on them..I do know that many have good things to say about their gear lubes and racing oil.

I get UOA's on both my cars. Don't use any oil additives. I can't imagine my UOA's being any better by an additive.
