Any chance that's a typo and there are a couple extra zero's?

car is probably worth 700 to 900k. its the 996 variant, quite rare, quite awsome, but you can tell its a 996 due to headlights and the lack of flared fenders near the door hinges.

the 993s, were even more rare. they only made 2 of the 993 strattenversions (street versions). 1 is int he museum. the other is now in dubai.

here were some photos of the 993 gt1 before on its way to dubai.
neat neat car. . Rick Deman did a massive extensive AAA+ restoration on the thing with the help of PNA and PMNA supplying some rarified parts.

You think? I dunno, the broker Mike Sheehan is known for turning down consignments that won't sell, and he handles cars in this range routinely. Still there aren't a lot of direct comparables...

You won't find a Strassenversion for less than 1.5. I can almost guarantee it.

The last 996 version I saw sold for 1.7.

That first decimal point should be a comma. Make it $1,950,000.

I don't think anyone in the world is confused enough to think a GT1 would sell for a buck ninety five.

Why did the Dubai car need restoring? Anything to do with it being in Dubai?
