True. Many think Farbacher Loles is one person, not the combination for the US of the great German Farnbacher team and that Loles felon guy. One just has to wonder how people bring themselves to commit crimes. There is NO chance of not being caught, but I guess it can take time.

Really? That's the best you can come up with?? My responses haven't been about ST specifically but if you want to go the "loophole" route, did you actually read the article. Little bit more going on there than simply exploiting loopholes. Try again...

It's ok, we can agree to disagree, no worries.
I read a few different articles about it actually, I understand it's more than a simple loophole, it's a very complex loophole, but one that he is getting away with currently with no end in site.
It is no doubt blatantly illegal, much like turbo in the exhaust would be for our racing. But until someone either changes the law, I doubt he will do any time.

I could go on but forum banter is too time consuming and not worth my time, not to mention just like in a DE, no one ever "wins".
I have many more productive things to do, don't I Mike ?

Have a wonderful evening,

We should ALL care because when we don't we end up with people running things that are just plain dangerous.

I'm not opining on ST or any other specific person because I don't know the facts. I'm just saying we should all care about honor, ethics and plain decency.
So now do you stop watching F1 ???

I haven't watched F1 since Prost was winning, Bernie turned me off even before then and I won't give him a dime of my money. It does matter, we all knew he was a thief.

Ok, a little exageration here (I mean, Formula One was good at least until Ayrton's death).

The rest is quite accurate

I just caught the mini-documentary about his team's efforts in the Daytona 24. He sure didn't spare any money in the effort.

Early on in the program they talk about developing a Ferrari V12 for the Daytona Prototype. Maybe I was out takin' a leak or something, but they ended up with Dinan/BMW power. So I wonder what happened to the Ferrari program?

And a rich guy buying himself glory is nothing new. Always sad, but nothing new.

think I could get an Indian payday loan to buy one of the Lolas on the cheap?

It makes good reading. The borrower must follow some specific instructions to avoid paying a LOT more than the very high interest rate disclosed.
