Default LeMans racer Scott Tucker's questionable path to success

Surprised and disapointed. Not sure I can root for this guy anymore. Perhaps there's another side to the story?

Interesting reading, pretty good investigative reporting.

Better than being a heroin dealer that shoots his competition. People stupid enough to use his loan service get what they signed up for.

I'm no bleeding heart but nor do I respect someone that takes advantage of the weak/ignorant. If half that report is accurate he's scum.

So I guess you are also offended by mortgage brokers who race...investment bankers who race...cigarette & alcohol companies who sponsor racers...drug companies involved in racing...etc etc etc?

Good grief....

What professions/businesses are "pure" enough for you to deem acceptable?

You're right. He has all of those state's Attorney Generals going after him for no reason at all.

So I guess Mr. Buckler, who actually did prison time for a felony, should be similarly excoriated? LMAO...

That is a wild story. I was particularly surprised by the story of him racing in Colorado while there was a warrant for his arrest there.

I was tempted to think that taking advantage of native reservations is somehow worse than taking advantage of other populations, but I guess VR's implicit point is that there's no reason for them not to be just as smart as anyone else who gets duped.
