On a racing note it was really funny when ST won the 2011 national championship in STO the interviewer basically said something to the effect, "Now that you have some time in professional racing how is it to come down to the amateurs and take a title?" The look on ST's face was classic. The guy spends a zillion dollars on his STO effort only to be slapped around by a low budget "tow your own car sleep in cheap motel" barely able to afford brake pads and tires guy who nearly beat him hounding ST all the way to the checker. ST's name may be on the trophy but in my mind Dave Pintaric is the STO national champion.

Just because thievery is rampant DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT!!
Scum are scum, and the apathy I see about putting up with them because it's common is ludicrous.
How would you like it if he ripped off your grandparents?
It also makes our sport look really bad, can end up turning away sponsors from good guys. Remember when so many IMSA teams were running on drug money?

someone pls give info on kevin buckler's record.
I've seen the team race and win at Daytona, and I do buy and love the wine, but I'd like to know more about the guy and his 'checkered' past.

One year at Mosport some team showed up with an ex-TransAm 935 (Heimrath) and their paddock was twin motorhomes, a trainer and a massuese, and then at night they laid out tables with cloths, china and crystal and had a chef prepare dinner. Not nearly as pompous as it sounds, they were doing it in style! Nice guys, too....(in case they're lurking)
