The video at Laguna looks about what you'd expect. The camera cat gets a runs, but the speed delta starts to diminish the higher the speed. In the first video, the speed delta stays the same or even increases mildly, hence the more hp comments. Btw, having more legal hp is part of having well prepared car in a spec class -- its not a bad thing assuming its all legit, which it sounds like this car is.
Btw, that move in the corkscrew was just stupid. Looks like you did the right thing to avoid contact, but that was a 0% move by the camera car.

There is no doubt that Eric's car is well prepared and one of the nicest BSRs out there but with an unrebuilt 136k mile motor with 2 seasons of racing on it, it isn't the highest HP car by any margin. All the top POC cars were dynoed on the same dyno and there was a ~14hp delta between the cars with Eric's being one of the lowest. The Pink BSR has identical everything to Eric's car and made 7 more HP likely by virtue of having over 100k less miles on it.
This however doesn't mean that the competition last weekend couldn't have had a dirty air filter or a bad O2 sensor or something else causing them to loose power but checking those things is part of prepping a car and none are better at that than Eric and the HRG crew.
