Exactly! The same MicroCenter I was praising built it originally a year and a half ago. I guess it was built after employee appreciation tequila night because they forgot to remove the sticker. The MicroCenter tech that put in the water cooling pointed it out to me and asked if MicroCenter originally built it, then shook his head.

I probably didn't need the water cooling, or the graphics upgrade, but I guess now the PC is future-proofed, at least for a while. The i7 has been baking itself for a year and a half, and has experienced several overtemp shutdowns in the past, but it seems no worse for the wear. It used to stutter a lot on iRacing, have frame rate drop randomly before the cooling was fixed, now it's rock solid and a lot easier to drive.

I'm still a fan of MicroCenter though -- they made a mistake on the original build, but have otherwise been great to work with.

Did you try the new monitor yet? I am thinking of buying both the single one and the triples, and set it all up over a weekend. Take back what I don't want.

Haven't had a chance to and unfortunately may not have a chance for a while, so it's still sitting in the box. In my research, I saw a photo of one setup where a guy was using a 27" next to the Samsung as a side view mirror. Given that the Samsung screen has the exact same vertical height as a 27" 16:9 monitor, at 32:9, one Samsung is the equivalent of 2 16:9's side-by-side in terms of screen real estate. Adding a 27" to the Samsung should give the same area as triple 27's, but the 27" (presumably) won't be curved.

Well, I am still waiting for my sim lab stuff.

I asked on the forums if it would be possible to add 2 additional 27s to extend the POV. So one curved and 2 27s, so like 4x area vs 3x compared to standard triples.

I have never ever configured POV before. So not sure if that is possible. Did you get your pedals?

I could probably hack this together. In my former life I have a BS/MS in comp engineering and lots of great software and firmware projects still “out there,” though Peter shamed me by writing the script first. I bought my rig with 4 point motion in mind....

How hard is it to get in on this? I don't do much racing while it is sunny and warm out but I do plenty in the winter time.
