WTB: iRacing sim starter Wheel/Pedals/Stand
WTB: iRacing sim starter set. There are so many options out there when trying to configure the proper Wheel/Pedals/Stand, I've decided to start small and learn a bit before going Mac Daddy on the whole thing. Does anyone have some basic stuff they will sell me cheap?
I finally upgraded my home computer to something with proper gaming capability, and ordered a Oculus Rift as my primary viewing device. Now, I need a basic wheel, pedals, and stand that I can get started with and pass along to the next newbee. I'm Ok with either 2 or 3 pedals as I run both manual and pdk on the track in real life.
Thanks, Matt

Micro Center rocks for building a custom PC. Their support people (most of them anyway) know what they are talking about and can build anything you want. They built our iRacing PC to spec and we have been very happy with it. I may be able to dig up the specs, but since it's now a couple years old, they may not be that relevant.

Now, I just got to get that dutch rig hardware I want!

Specs:
16 gig RAM
500 gig Solid State HDD
Intel l5-9600K Processor
nVidia RTX2080 Ti GPU/Card
ASUS Z390-H Mother Board
Windows 10 Home
Total 22: hundo. Do have one bad DIMM, so I will need to exchange. Machine build went pretty easy/well. Now, to somehow get on the fast track for that rig hardware from the Netherlands!
Thoughts on high speed 27 inch displays. I saw the non-IPS Asus at Microcenter I posted about earlier, seems slicker than ....

It's impossible to overdo it on graphics for iRacing -- as much graphics power as you have it will use. What's bizarre to me is that Gran Turismo 6 is about as rich as iRacing graphically and it will run effortlessly on a PS3 (which has not changed at all performance-wise since 2006 (the later PS3's were thinner, but had exact same CPU/graphics power)).

If anybody has thoughts on good hardware other than the Dutch stuff, let me know. I am inclined to wait until their stock levels come back.
I dont really want to conpromise this time. I stopped before because it was a pain in the *** not having a stand alone rig, and I outgrew the resistive only pedals. This will be stand alone. Turn on, play, walk away.

I think the hardware you selected will last a long time.

The resolution was one thing and the lack of brightness was another. Also, all those cords! It seems many sim people have both, and I didn’t really like having that thing strapped to my head all the time, and having to worry about debris constantly.
Sucks I have to wait for HE stock to come back, but that system seems like the one to get.
