Default Racing pedals advice needed......

my brake pedal rubber cover just ripped, I need to replace it.

I have been racing with the stock ones for 2 years so........

Should I go with a set of racing pedals or just back to the oem ones?

TIA

Have the stock ones ever given you problems? Ever messed you up on heel/toe downshifts? if not, keep them IMO. Porsche stuff is pretty good out of the box...

That is what I was thinking Dave, I have never had any problems with them except now that the right side of the brake pedal ripped.....

Plus a replacement rubber pedal cover is $4.95 as opposed to fancy racing pedals...

Thanks for the input.....

Keep the stock one. That's what I have done at least.

I put the heaviest grit sandpaper (self-stick backing) I can find directly onto the metal pedal.

I change to something that's not as slippery as rubber when my feet are wet...apart from that the stock covers are OK.

We have to stop agreeing on things or people will talk.

I find that standard Porsche pedals work well. Better if they are bottom pivot and even better when you shift the seat and wheel over to the right a few inches and put the driver in front of them.

I find the pedal to the right makes me goes faster.
Don't worry about the one in the middle so much.

Its remarkable how many guys get huge wing gas pedals then [usually sometime later] miscue the brake pedal enough to hit both gas and brake at the same time. There's often a wall involved in the rest of that story.
