Ouch! That one hurts everyone!

Having done a few standing starts in my life I know how quickly this can happen. That is one of the biggest hits at the start I have seen.

 

Wow, I actually flinched when I watched that.

 

Didn't even have time for an OH ****...scary.

 

I saw that! wow, all 70 liters ignited at once!
they didnt show the guy getting out. he was ok?

edit: funny, was just watching the show and that scene just came on (wierd)
he got out and was jumping around. dont think he was on fire, but he had some burns based on the updates.

 

Yes, seen that and wow, one I seen get out of the car, but they did say both drivers are ok.

 

Saw that today also... scary stuff !!!

 

I had just turned to speed and w it right when it happened. That was crazy

 

He got out but suffered some pretty nasty burns to his hands and maybe face. Apparently the pit crews got to him before the fire crews did in numbers which didn't please everyone.
