Just hoping for enough of a split for a clean first lap and let everything settle. Once things open up I'm sure jame's monsters and the RSRs like yourself will be lapping at a fair clip no matter what. I was at long beach, the speed of the WC997s is impressive, particularly when well driven... The challenge cars were passed like Sunday traffic...

We will have a great time on track, I will try to find you in the paddock. I love the large picture of your car at Porsche North Scottsdale!

We (GMG and our clients) are looking to have a blast this coming weekend, not caring about who wins or loses but more about the fun we are going to have as this is a nice, low pressure weekend with a lot of other great, non-racing stuff to check out.

I am bringing the kids as well as are most of my clients (with wives) so we are just going to treat this as a big party for all us car enthusiasts!

Looking forward to meeting many of you in person for the first time.

Cheers,

James
GMG

Unloaded the car in the paddock last night. Took a little walk around in the dusk. All I can say is wow. Walking through at dusk there was hardly a soul in the paddock, but everywhere you turned some exotic or legendary p car. Even the ones covered for the evening, you know the silhouette underneath is something special.

This is going to be insane!

Charlie did you ship your car out? That's quite the haul!

I'll be at Rensport this weekend, Oct. 14-16. I'm partnering with CTF and will have copies of my new novel, "The Driver" available. http://thedriver-series.com

Heard they moved the top 10 in Group 6 to Group 5 (?!?!?). Worse than a lead trophy! <grin> let's hear reports!

James, Mark, Buckler, and all the guys that posted the ten top times in the first run got moved to five, so they could run "flat-out"... they proceeded to lay down some fast times that put them well into the group 5 spread. It was done to open up the group six which got a little crazy with traffic. The second run was much better, but had they known I think several cars would of qualified out to five, including Leh Keen in a GT2 car that was seriously fast. And another RSR or two... Serious fun...

JR, hope your championship is in the bag!

My client was moved and he was able to not only go quicker, but be much more consistent in the lower-density, supposedly-faster-car group five. Good luck! Qualifying in ninety minutes!

It's crazy, we're sharing data files in a shared Rennsport Reunion Dropbox folder and had a teleconference this morning using FaceTime with him on WiFI in the paddock and me across the country! Man, I love technology, but from the pictures on FaceBook and the track, it looks like a spectacular event and I wish I was there.

Safe, FAST times for everyone! Keep posting reports, scan and post a time sheet for group five, if you can!

Where are you paddocked? I'd like to check out your car on Sunday if I don't find you today.
